Emission of Tar Fog From Coke-Oven Doorsh Association’s “Agreed Uniform Technique” is assessed. It is shown that (a) correlation between smoke grade and emission rate is good for individual works but is not the same at each (b) some modification of the B.Ca.R.A. technique is necessary in order to avoid over estimation of emission.
