Weakly Stationary Processes and Random Harmonic Analysis,uity of .(.) implies that ..(.) is continuous in the mean, that is, . as . — . → 0. It is clear that a stationary process with finite second moments must be weakly stationary while the converse is not true. On the other hand, if a stationary process has infinite second moments it is meaningless to speak of weak stationarity.
