The Measurement of Cardiac Reactivity in Clinical Populationsained during maximal effort. Furthermore, new parameters of cardiac reactivity are proposed. These include measurements of recovery time after challenge, inability to relax, frequency and type of ventricular arrhythmias as well as ST-segment changes.

The techniques for collecting both urine and plasma samples are presented along with a discussion of the appropriate timing of samples.
