描述.Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) permits noninvasive imaging of the "human brain at work" under physiological conditions. This is the first textbook on clinical fMRI. Presurgical Functional MRI in Patients with Brain Tumors,stablished and standardized diagnostic neuroimaging procedure and still needs to be performed in clinical research trials. Preoperative fMRI is performed exclusively in individual patients and therefore differs fundamentally from research applications in the neurosciences.

Congestion Optimization During Placement and important brain functions such as sensorimotor function, language and memory. For the latter tasks fMRI has proven clinical feasibility. The application of EEG-correlated ictal and interictal fMRI is still experimental.

Brain Plasticity and fMRI,reoperative and postoperative plastic changes are considered, with a focus on the motor system. The section on plasticity phenomena in patients with epilepsy is mainly focused on the lateralization (or dominance) of language in these patients.
