Digitalis and arrhythmias,derived from digitalis plants. Cardiac glycosides elude attempts to locate their electrophysiological actions within standard antiarrhythmic drug classifications. Effects differ in various parts of the heart, and interactions with the autonomic nervous system contribute substantially to the overall response.
