Determination of Coal Behavior for Practical Coal Conversion Processesconditions, the results show that the heating rate often significantly influences coal behavior with respect to coal weight loss and char gasification reactivity. The effect of heating rate on the thermoplastic behavior of a coal appears to be of major importance for the char reactivity.
