The Geology, Quarrying Technology and Use of Beylerk?y Marbles in Western Turkeyated to the east of the village of Beylerk?y and was one of the four quarries supplying the ancient town of Teos, of marble for building purposes and for export. The Beylerk?y marble has colors varying from dark grey to white on a greenish or greenish pink background. It is composed of recrystallized limestone and of limestone breccia.
