Hypertension in Children with Chronic Kidney Disease,on should be aggressively treated, the optimal target for blood pressure control in children with CKD has not been clearly defined. In most cases, pharmacologic treatment should be initiated with a drug that inhibits the renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system and individualized to the patient.
