Sonderfall Ost – Normalfall West?The data on the incidence of choriocarcinoma and vesicular [hydatidiform.-Ed] mole (Table I) were obtained, where available, from the various teaching hospitals of India. The lowest incidence is found in the north of India (Calcutta), increasing as one proceeds south to the highest incidence in the southern most State of Kerala (Trivandrum).

Der Verfassungsschutz und der NSUDr. . reported his experience with the epidemiology of malignat trophoblastic disease in Nigeria since 1954. He has seen 104 cases of whom 60% were less than 30 years of age. All but 10 of these patients came from within a radius of 100 miles of Ibadan. All but 8 on appearance had metastases. 40% were primigravida.

(1956). The data to be presented are derived from 116 cases with metastases and 38 cases with disease presumably confined to the uterus.
