Upregulation of Cytoprotective Chaperones Mediate Better Tolerance to High Altitude mechanisms play a very important role in differential tolerance or susceptibility to environmental hypoxia. Hence, the present work potentiate the use of proteostasis modulators either chemical or herbal which can be developed as therapeutic interventions for the treatment of a multitude of hypoxia related pathophysiologies.

Therapeutic Implications of Heat Shock Proteins in Cancerng anti-tumor immune responses by acting as carriers for tumor-specific immunogenic peptides, chaperokines, adjuvants for antigen presentation, or targets for the innate immune system. HSP-based immunotherapies have shown promising results in the therapy of certain subtypes of tumors.

Furthermore, the decreased CMA in aging is stem from reduced LAMP-2A in the lysosomal membrane. Here, we describe the evidence in support of the contribution of chaperokines and CMA in viral infections.
