Conditional Prediction with Missing Data,ot be present at that time, it was agreed that I would contribute a paper to the proceedings of the Symposium, to be published by the ACS. Grace Borowitz, who organized and chaired the Symposium, wrote me on 1 July 1991 to this effect:
