https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-662-68684-3will be shown that the epistemic aspect of this account permits clarifying overdetermination cases in a novel way. A comparison of the ranking-theoretic approach to causation with the counterfactual analysis of causation and with the causal modelling account is also conducted.
