Ischemic Preconditioning,s termed as ischemic preconditioning (PC). PC is a powerful endogenous protection and has been demonstrated in dogs, pigs, rabbits and rats and humans. This protection is characterized as a reduction of infarct size and an improvement of postischemic cardiac dysfunction.
