On a Method Constructing Morse Flows,h is applicable to isovolumic contractions as well as non-isovolumic contractions. The aim is to test some current theories concerning physiological and pathophysiological processes of cardiac contraction and to investigate which parameters may be estimated with reasonable accuracy from measurable quantities such as ventricular pressure and flow.

Nonlinear PI Control of Uncertain Systems,traction and the percentage of the end-diastolic volume that is ejected during systole must increase. The time for filling and ejection is decreased (2). Since every cardiac cell normally contracts during every beat, the variable performance of the heart requires each cardiac cell to perform differently as cardiac output increases.
