Climate Change Mitigation and Pastoral Livelihood in the?Hindu Kush Himalaya Region: Research Focuseition of carbon dynamics and its driving forces that could better equip HKH’s governments and people to mitigate and adapt to future climate change; and (3) encourage anti-poverty assistance be involved in the carbon trade in the world platform for HKH sustainable development.

Effects of Different Grassland Management Patterns on Soil Properties on the?Qinghai-Tibetan Plateausoil properties. The results showed that in Maqu SOC, STN, and STP were all significantly greater under MMP compared to SMP, in Nagchu, their values were also significantly different between them. All of these suggested that MMP without fences among households is of better soil condition than SMP with fences on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.

Carbon Management of the?Livestock Industry in the?HKH Regionrmentation and manure, amount to 3.77 million tons per year, while the high emission zones are found in the mixed livestock cropping systems. It could be concluded that there is high potential of carbon emission mitigation in the livestock production sector.
