In this chapter, the various methods that are being used, and the pitfalls encountered, are discussed in detail.

Francesca del Bufalo,Franco Locatellithod is based on the combined use of a precision tracker and a highly-granular calorimeter. The idea is that the charged jet particles can be precisely measured with the tracker, while the energy of the neutral particles is measured with the calorimeter. This chapter is about the experience and problems associated with this approach.
