Taking a Crash Course in XMLSharePoint uses Extensible Markup Language (XML)—or, to be more specific, the Collaborative Application Markup Language (CAML). We will spend a lot of time working with CAML, but it will be a lot easier to understand if you have the basics of XML down first.
