The first operational implementation of a VBT was named “Incompany Environmental Consult.” Based on the evaluation results of this alpha-run, we are now fine-tuning and further elaborating the concept of VBTs in two beta-runs, which are undertaken together with Information and Communications Technology (ICT) companies.

Building Electronic Educational Environments: Why, What and How?,nvironment in which ICT is integrated. ICT support should provide functionality appropriate for this new learning situation. Requirements for electronic learning environments, such as LearningSpace, are presented and a comparison between environments is made.
