SPEAR3 SYNCHROTRON LIGHT SOURCEnd the accelerator performance during the first two years of operation. An overview will be given of ongoing and planned accelerator improvements, including fast orbit feedback, double waist chicane optics, 500 mA tests, top-off injection, and short bunch length generation.

CANDLE SYNCHROTRON LIGHT SOURCE PROJECT of Armenia. The main design features of the new facility are given. The results of the beam physics study in the future facility is overviewed including the machine impedance, single and multi-bunch instabilities, ion trapping and beam lifetime. The preliminary list of first group beamlines is discussed.

Thomas Friedli,Philipp Osterriederng 17.5 GeV linear accelerator, followed by 5 separate undulators both for SASE FEL radiation and incoherent radiation. Start of operation is foreseen for 2013. This paper presents the layout of the European XFEL, with an emphasis on beam dynamics issues.
