A Complete History of Breast Reconstruction did not gain wide acceptance until the mid-1900s. Today, a plastic surgeon has a variety of autologous techniques to reconstruct the breast. The author describes the historical development of breast reconstruction with the large variety of techniques.

Preoperative Vascular Mapping with Multislice CT of Deep Inferior Epigastric Artery Perforators in Pre important to obtain a volume than can be later reformatted in three dimensional imaging.
