Fibroepithelial Lesions,adenoma and distinction of malignant phyllodes from breast sarcomas and spindle cell carcinoma in both surgical specimens and needle core biopsy. The genetics of both lesions and prognostic factors of phyllodes tumor are also discussed.

Mucinous Lesions of the Breast and Expression of WT1,ma at the other end and include mucocele-like lesions and mucinous DCIS. All lesions are characterized by the presence of abundant, usually acidic, mucin, and the majority express WT1. There is also a discussion of reporting mucocele-like lesions in core biopsies and a brief account of signet ring cell carcinoma.

Spindle Cell Lesions,e dealt with in Chaps. 12 and 8, respectively. It starts with outlining the scheme that should be followed for diagnosing spindle cell lesions in core biopsies. Important benign and malignant lesions are then discussed individually.
