https://doi.org/10.1057/9781137301901ise. Some investigations showed that nutritional support with essential amino acids containing high BCAA produced good results in patients with COPD. Nutritional support for pulmonary rehabilitation is needed in COPD patients. Further study is needed to determine prescription nutritional support.

Magical Thinking in Severe Grief Reactions with low skeletal muscle mass was found to be significantly lower than in patients with normal/high skeletal muscle mass. Perioperative nutritional therapy including branched-chain amino acids is useful for patients with sarcopenia, whose prognosis is poor without nutritional therapy.

Branched Chain Amino Acid Supplementation and Plasma Albuminin deficiency under conditions of adequate nonprotein caloric intake leads to marked hypoalbuminemia. This may result from the net loss of albumin from both intravascular and extravascular pools, causing kwashiorkor.
