History and Morphology of the Lysosome,In the following list of algae, the systematic classification of Round (1973) has been applied. Genera have been classified alphabetically within orders and species alphabetically within a given genus. Colourless flagellates have been classified according to Fott (1971). Where no variety is explicitely mentioned, the type variety is present.

Data treatment and analysis,Austin & Orloci (1966) reported that a Bray & Curtis ordination (Bray & Curtis 1957) favors continuity between data while a principal component analysis (P.C.A.) circumscribes the principal types better. Beals (1973), on the other hand, demonstrated that P.C.A. favors continuity too.

Phytoplankton groupings,P.C.A., D.C.A. and cluster analysis was performed on the data of a year cycle in the Grote Geule (1), the Rode Geule (2), the Kapellenpolderkreek (5) and the Boerenkreek (10). Taxa and samples were ordinated and classified, and several phytoplankton groupings distinguished.

Lyrische Autobiographien und Selbstportr?ts12), Blokkreek (13), Vrouwkeshoekkreek (14) and Oostpolderkreek (15)), sampled on 25/01/73, based on their morphology, salinity and species diversity. The very shallow Kapellenpolderkreek was dry between the end of June and the end of October 1973.
