Common Molecular Mechanisms Regulating Fetal Bone Formation and Adult Fracture Repair,.–.). The goal of this review is to highlight recent advances in understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms regulating fetal skeletal development and adult fracture repair. We are optimistic that these advances will ultimately facilitate the manipulation of molecular programs in order to prevent bone disease and treat traumatic injury.
