Radio Sources, X-ray Sources, Cosmic Rays, receptors for calcitonin. In addition, the beneficial effects on bone health of some xenobiotics like fluoride or bisphosphonates are mediated at least in part through the osteoblast. The positive effect of physical activity on bone formation is also transduced through modulation of osteoblast functions.
