Boiler Efficiency and Heat Transfer,It may be that some boiler attendants, especially those whose main field of work is not necessarily the care of a boiler plant, are not aware of the meaning of the term thermal efficiency. As applied to boilers it is simply the ratio of the Useful heat output in steam to the heat input in the fuel
