Kentaro Hanada,Toshihiko Sugikihe sensor is embedded into the fabric-based chest strap to verify the detection performance in wearable scenarios. An existing piezoelectric sensor (TSD108) is used as reference. The designed sensor can acquire complete heart sound signals, and its signal-to-noise ratio is 2?dB higher than that of TSD108.

A Portable Continuous Wave Radar System to Detect Elderly Falld an algorithm is employed to classify the fall on the basis of analysed data. The results show that the proposed portable CWR can be used to detect fall from non-fall activities with almost 100% accuracy.
