Copenhagen Becoming a Blue-Green City,In Copenhagen, wastewater from households and businesses is managed in closed pipes underground. The majority of the city has a combined sewer system where stormwater from roads and household wastewater is discharged for treatment in the city’s central treatment plants. A separate sewer system only exists in part of the city close to the port.
