Ergosterolnd the residue was dissolved in methanol and analyzed using an HPLC system. The third method uses extraction with chloroform/methanol mixture (20:10, v/v), and the analysis was done using HPLC. These methods can help in the potential use of mushrooms as an abundant source of ergosterol.
