Factors Affecting the Bacterial Activity of Saccharides and Polysaccharides Modified Through Reactioial results. In general, inhibition is only secondarily dependent on the percentage of organostannane incorporation. Inhibition follows the general inhibition order for alkyl-substitution where general activity decreases as the length of the alkyl chain increases. Finally, general activity is dependent on the nature of the saccharide.

Hylan Gel for Soft Tissue Augmentationical and biological properties of this gel slurry were examined by rheological and particle size analysis and by . studies. Hylan gel slurries are made up of pseudoplastic, deformable gel particles with greater elasticity (at all frequencies) and greater viscosity (at low shear rate, e.g. 0.01 s.) than the soluble hylan polymer.

Biodegradable Polymers in the Environment: Are They Really Biodegradable?is paper, I will define biodegradable polymers, explain why they are used, how the degree of biodegradability is estimated and what the environmental implications are for incomplete biodegradation. Tests available are not yet totally satisfactory and further development needs are indicated. Some possible approaches are raised.
