Light-Tissue Interactions,emical interactions, thermal interactions (e.g., coagulation and vaporization), photoablation, plasma-induced ablation, and photodisruption. Two key phenomena used in tissue analyses are random interference patterns or speckle fields and the principles of fluorescence.
