A Study on the Effective Approach to Illumination-Invariant Face Recognition Based on a Single Imagestically varying illuminations. However, the “two-step” framework, including an illumination preprocessing and an illumination-insensitive facial features extraction, could be an effective approach to addressing this problem. We further study what are the appropriate illumination preprocessing and feature extraction for this framework.

3D Aided Face Recognition across Pose Variationst to that of the probe pose to generate specific gallery sample for matching, which largely reduces the influence of head pose variations. Experiments are carried out on a subset of the FRGC v1.0 database, and the achieved performance clearly highlights the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Fingerprint Identification Based on Semi-supervised , a semi-supervised setting, which significantly improves the robustness of the . based method. We evaluate our method on the DIEE Fingerprint database. The experimental results show favorable performance of our method as compared to state-of-the-art.

Muhammed Shahriar Haque,Md. Masudul HasanStructural Similarity (SSIM). A mean SSIM (MSSIM) at all pairs of points is computed for authentication. The proposed approach is tested on FERET, CMU-PIE and AR databases with only one image for enrollment. Comparative results on the AR database show that our approach outperforms state-of-the-art approaches.
