Evaluation of Dense Vessel Detection in NCCT Scansvessel detection to identification of the dense vessels by clinical researchers in NCCT and computed tomography angiography (CTA). The automatic system is able to detect dense vessel in NCCT scans, however it shows lower specificity in relation to CTA than clinical experts.

A Heuristic for the Live Parsimony Probleme analyze problems related to most parsimonious tree using Live Phylogeny. We propose an improvement to a previously presented branch-and-bound algorithm and also a new heuristic for the problem. We present the results of experiments with a set of 20 Zika virus genome sequences, comparing the performance of our heuristic.
