Estimation of Gait Cycle Duration and Stride Length from One Marker Kinematic Dataestimation of the parameters directly from the measured coordinate data. As input, the algorithm requires the horizontal and vertical coordinates in the sagittal plane of one point affixed to the body. For good results the marker should be located somewhere on the leg, preferrably on the knee or more distal.
