Biomechanics of Lower Limb Injuries During Landing,on. The semi-rigid stabilizer was helpful for men in increasing shank muscle activities. For women, high stabilizer rigidity had little influence on the muscle activities, and it could contribute to larger injury risk. Terrain stiffness did not appear to influence ankle biomechanics.
