A 32-Channel MCG System Cooled by a GM/JT Cryocoolert [5], and the high degree of freedomin the tilt of the cryostat On the other hand, two disadvantagesare the magnetic noise producedby movement of the magnetic and metallic parts in the cryocooler and the mechanical Vibration. To reduce this noise and the Vibration, we have been improving the cryocooler in the system.

32 Channel High Tc SQUID System for Biomagnetism been developed, such as a more than 100-channel system. In the high Tc SQUID, we reported a 4-channel system[2] and 16-channel system[3]. Here, we present a compact and easy handling 32-channel system. We also show its application, such as detecting heart activities with it.

Magnetic Measurement Techniques for Locating Foreign Bodies in Humansul clinical importance. In this way, non-invasive magnetic field measurements, using a SQUID magnetometer, were performed to locate, for surgical purposes, needles lost in the bodies of 5 children. Also, another approach for detecting magnetic fields generated by foreign bodies, using a fluxgate magnetometer, is proposed.

A Cryocooled SQUID System with Minimal Clearance Between the Pick-up Coil and the Specimenn operation during the measurements. In our new system, however, we reduced this noise by replacing the ferromagnetic materials of the cryocooler, and we measured magnetcardiogram (MCG) signals in real-time without the need for interrupting the cooler expansion operation.
