Ansatzpunkte für eine effiziente GestaltungNot all bacterial species are equally sensitive to a given antibiotic. The range of organisms inhibited by an antibiotic is called its antibacterial spectrum. Some antibiotics inhibit growth of a wide variety of organisms (“broad spectrum” antibiotics), whereas others have a narrower antibacterial spectrum, confined to a few groups.
