Adsorption, Retention and Biologic Activity of Proteins Adsorbed on Gas Discharge Treated Surfaces,sis antibodies in an immunoassay and (c) horseradish peroxidase (HRP) as a model enzyme biosensor. In some cases, the protein adsorbed to the treated surface retains greater activity and/or greater stability when compared to the untreated control surface. We also discuss the possible mechanism(s) of these interesting and unusual effects.

Some Model Surfaces Made by RF Plasma Aimed for the Study of Biocompatibility,nd before ignition was almost linearly related to the increase of refractive index of the polymer films, irrespective of the monomer used. Adsorption of plasma proteins on different surfaces were different.

Human Cell Culture and Characterization of Cell/Biomaterial Interface,human cells to study the interface between a cell system and a potential biomaterial partly allows a prediction to be made of the in-vivo performance of a new biomaterial. In-vitro evaluation of the cytocompatibility of potential biomaterial by using human cells may give further information.
