Biological Interrelationships and Water,connections. But what is being “flown” (conveyed) via the interconnections the research programme does not disclose. It is implied that what flows in the interconnections is information. But what is information? – that remains undefined. Having in mind BICA’s interest in the matters, the paper will try to clarify the issues.

Discrete Modeling of Multi-transmitter Neural Networks with Neuronal Competitionintroduced mechanism of neuronal competition which is shown to be responsible for the generation of proper rhythms. The model is illustrated with an example of the well-studied feeding network of a pond snail. Future research will focus on the neuromodulatory effects ubiquitous in CPG networks and the whole nervous systems.

Fran?ois Goasdoué,Chantal Reynaudel supporting believable character reasoning. The model was implemented and tested in a pilot experiment in a virtual environment involving human participants. Preliminary results indicate that a Virtual Actor of this sort can be believable and socially acceptable in a small heterogeneous group.
