Isoelectric Focusing of Muscle Proteins, attention in spite of their failure to be unearthed by the computer. Thus, any omissions represent failures of the indexers and/or this author to achieve complete coverage of this small branch of the literature rather than careful selections based on some arbitrary judgment of the merit or significance of a report.

Isoelectric Focusing of Microbial Proteins,f isoelectric focusing lies in its ability to provide separation, quantitation, and characterization of quite closely related amphoteric compounds. Proteins varying by as little as 0.02 pH units at their isoelectric point have been clearly resolved.

Isoelectric Focusing of Serum Proteins,clude electrofocusing in a sucrose density gradient (Haglund, 1971) or in a gel, usually of polyacrylamide. The latter may be combined with subsequent electrophoresis, either in a gel block of uniform concentration (Dale and Latner, 1969; Scheil, 1973; Klose, 1975) or in the form of a gradient (Kenrick and Margolis, 1970; Emes ., 1975).
