Mobilisation of Storage Lipids in Germinating Oilseeds and the importance of lipolysis for seedling growth, relatively little is known about the nature and regulation of plant lipases. Two important areas of controversy are (a) the possible regulation of lipases by proteinaceous inhibitors and (b) the subcellular distribution of oilseed lipases.

Ein Beitrag zur Klinik der Nierenamyloidose, oily mesocarp (POM). The biological role of mesocarp TAGs is unknown, and therefore studies in this field are of great interest. Sea buckthorn was chosen for these studies because it is widely distributed in our country, whereas other POM are not readily available in Russia; besides, its oil is extensively applied in medicine /2/.
