Aquatic Biota,hthonous nutrient inputs. The lakes and streams of Loch Vale Watershed (LVWS) are relatively unaltered ecosystems. Therefore, it was a natural extension of the LVWS project to study the organisms found there. This chapter describes the phytoplankton, macroinvertebrate, and fish communities of Icy Brook, Sky Pond, Glass Lake, and The Loch.
