An Improved Pigeon-Inspired Optimization Combining Adaptive Inertia Weight with a One-Dimension Modiion modification, enhancing the ability to explore the search space. Comprehensive experimental results indicates that the proposed PIO outperforms the basic PIO, the other improved PIO and other improved SI methods in terms of the quality of the solution.

Meanwhile, the convergence speed of RDE algorithm is also very fast. This preliminary study may provide a new method for solving ecological control problem.
