We have also applied the algorithms to real microscopy images of HIV-1 particles and have compared the tracking results with ground truth obtained from manual tracking. It turns out that the probabilistic approach outperforms the deterministic schemes.

Neuroimaging: SPM als verteilte Komponente in Grid- und Cluster-Architekturent wurde eine Infrastruktur zur Parallelverarbeitung der Daten mittels SPM entwickelt, die au?er Matlab keine weitere Software ben?tigt. Es konnte eine signifikante Reduktion der Auswertezeit entwickelt werden. Das Konzept ist skalierbar und erlaubt somit in Rechnerclustern eine weitere Reduktion der Auswertezeit.
