,Finite Element Simulation of the Breast’s Deformation during Mammography to Generate a Deformation mulation. A neo-hookean model results in a simulation with an average displacement smaller than two voxels. It was found to be homogeneous and has boundary conditions which imitate the deformation between two plates. This enables the model to predict the position of the smallest visible lesion within a MRI.
