Application specific memory would be a good descriptive name, except ASIC memory, through common usage, usually implies custom memory implemented within a standard cell or gate array ASIC device.

BiCMOS Standard Memories,wer dissipation and memory size have been regarded as the practical indications of technology performance and density. Against this empirical yard stick BiCMOS technology has been found to produce memories with MOS-like power and density but with speeds and I/O interfaces which one normally attributes to bipolar memories.

BiCMOS Process Technology,ce bipolar device are usually merged with a core CMOS process flow [3.1, 3.2, 3.3]. In the case of analog BiCMOS, the increasing demand to have on-board digital logic integration has also resulted in these processes being CMOS-oriented.
