Biosynthesis of , Cells from Glucose,ning 50% is converted into cellular material. It is this conversion that consumes most of the ATP formed in oxidation. In this chapter the principal biosynthetic reactions involved in synthesis of cellular material and the main sites of ATP consumption will be outlined.
