We found that models including hot (T≈140,000 K) clumps are able to reproduce the available observations and are also consistent with its X-ray emission.

The Galactic B[e] Supergiant Candidate HD 87643HD 87643 has long been known as a peculiar B-type emission line star. Its spectrum is dominated by emission lines from FeII and the Balmer series. Of particular note is the P Cygni shape of the hydrogen and helium lines. Except for the blue-shifted absorption components and interstellar absorption lines, no absorption lines have been found.
