Effects of Magnetic Field on Tensile Behavior at 4 K of Alloys 304 and 310,Superconducting magnet structures require alloys that have high strength at 4 K in magnetic fields. Since magnetic fields are known to influence martensitic transformation in steels, it is prudent to examine the effect of magnetic field on their strength.
