High harmonic spectroscopy reveals details of electron-electron interactions, motion of electronic wave packets, and can follow a chemical reaction.

We have explored other generating media and report HHG from crystal and liquid samples. We conclude with a brief outlook of both the laser development and attophysics with MIR sources.
